The Challenge
Historical changes.
Faced with declining enrolment by 2021, something had to change. Founded in 1970 as a women-only institution their brand was outdated and full of religious symbolism. To appeal to more first-year students, they decided to open enrolment to all genders and needed a fresh identity that respected their history while embracing inclusivity.
The Brand
Where you belong.
Crafting Grace College’s new look and feel was a creative endeavor. We partnered with the Board and Principal and drew inspiration from the embracing nature of the College, translating its essence into a brand that exudes modernity and approachability (a diamond shield-type of ‘G’ holding or surrounding the diamonds/students of the college). Our fresh take on the coral red and purple colour palette blended with creative writing forms a visual language that represents an inclusive approach.

The Result
Exceeding expectations.
Our close collaboration with the college led to a multimedia launch campaign backed by a suite of collateral that surpassed expectations. Grace College welcomed its first male and non-binary residents and achieved an impressive 125% of its enrolment target, a 373% YoY increase.
